In the southern reaches of Snowdonia National Park, Llwyn yr Helm is a haven for ramblers, bikers and hikers: the Mawddach Trail, Torrent Walk and Precipice Walk all start in Dolgellau. Cadair Idris mountain’s Minfford Path is less than 15 minutes from the site.
With the hikers sorted, what about the bikers? Coed y Brenin Biking and Visitor Centre is twenty minutes away, and the fab Antur Stiniog downhill biking trails are within a thirty minute drive.
For the adrenaline seekers we have the Zip World Caverns and Forest only forty minutes’ drive away and the National White Water Rafting Centre within a 20 minute drive.
